Responsibilities
- Design Support
- Assist in the design of electrical systems for buildings, including: power distribution systems, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm systems, low-voltage systems (communications, security, etc.)
- Help prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation
- Perform basic electrical calculations (e.g., load calculations, panel schedules)
- Support Revit/BIM modeling and AutoCAD drafting

- Construction Phase Support
- Assist with: Shop drawing reviews, Responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) Site visits and field reviews (with supervision)
- Support commissioning and project closeout activities
- Professional Development
- Actively work toward developing technical knowledge and design skills
- Pursue Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation (if not already obtained)
- Participate in mentorship and training opportunities within the team
- Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution (or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and building systems

Requirements
