About the role

Job Summary: The IT Financial and Portfolio Analyst is responsible for conducting timely and accurate analysis of IT various aspects of IT portfolio and reporting to assist in financial decision making. Provides technical financial expertise to IT leaders to ensure all financial and operational data, including program status, risks, budgets and forecasts, are available to support business decisions. Liaison between regional IT/finance and global IT/Finance. Comprehends the different perspectives and needs of Program/Applications portfolio, Accounting and Financial reconciliation Job Scope: Provides financial/portfolio leadership and support of the IT budget Represents global PMO/IT-Finance function in the region Maintains relationships and open communication with IT-Director, global PMO, IT-Finance, Project Managers, BRMs, Affiliate and global finance teams Ensures financial alignment and accuracy across global PMO, IT-Finance and Affiliate-Finance Manages financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis as requested Leads Resource Forecast and Financial Forecast Process Spearhead monthly forecasting process for resources and budgets Support monthly, quarterly and year-end close process including setting expectations, deliverables, timelines, etc Manage regular holistic reporting on resource, application, finance to IT-Director Manages Month End Close for IT Dept Works on (Opex and Capex) to make sure all accruals are sent to the Accounting Team before month Monitor amount spent by vendor, department, projects, stakeholders Create PO's and match invoices to PO's Reconciliation of IT Billing Data to IT Billing in SAP Assist in Monthly reclasses and cross charges Leads Capex/Opex Reporting and Analysis Monitor and track Request for Capital Employed (RCE) cost against budget Monitor all the Opex charges, budget transfers to IT cost centre Monitor and track cost against budget Understand depreciation/amortization and how it impacts the P&L Portfolio Analysis and Reporting Keep track of IT application portfolio Support portfolio rationalization effort working with global portfolio team Administers and follows-up on project requests in partnership with BRMs Administers project health checks and reporting to IT-Director Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial and/or IT portfolio analysis Analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and prepare complex reports Time management and organizational skills with ability to multitask Good written and verbal communication skills Experience working with SAP is good to have Proven experience in identifying and executing improvements in process; self-motivated problem solver Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Additional Information: Salary -S$8K per month Contract duration: 6-month contract Commencement Date: Immediate Working days and hours: Mon to Friday, 9am to 6pm Location: Bugis, DUO Tower
