Responsibilities

  • Corporate Tax
  • o Prepare and review Group-wide corporate income tax returns, tax provisions, and related tax computations, while coordinating with local finance teams and external advisors where required.
  • o Manage and execute Group-wide tax compliance activities, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of tax returns, tax payments, and statutory tax reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

  • o Support tax planning initiatives, business restructuring projects, and the implementation of tax-efficient operating and legal structures across the Group.
  • Indirect Tax (GST / VAT)
  • o Prepare and review GST / VAT returns, reconciliations, and related compliance filings across multiple jurisdictions, working with external tax advisors where required.
  • o Review GST / VAT treatments for business transactions, intercompany charges and cross-border arrangements.
  • o Assess indirect tax implications arising from cross-border transactions, business initiatives, and operational changes.
  • o Collaborate with finance team to ensure accurate tax coding, invoicing, and compliance with indirect tax requirements.
  • o Support indirect tax audits, tax authorities enquire, and investigation, including the preparation of responses and coordination with external tax advisors.
  • o Liaise with external tax advisors on technical indirect tax matters, compliance requirements, and tax authority communications as needed.
  • Other Tax Matters / Special Projects
  • o Support employee tax matters, including expatriate arrangements, business travellers, and international assignments, in coordination with HR and external advisors.
  • o Support tax due diligence, business expansion projects, legal entity restructurings, and other strategic initiatives.
  • o Support transfer pricing documentations and intercompany transaction reviews where required.
  • o Support implementation of new tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • o Assist with tax data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • o Participate in tax technology, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • o Maintain tax governance documentation, internal controls, and tax risk management processes.
  • o Perform other tax-related projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.
  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, SCTP, or ADIT would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably gained within a multinational corporation or a commercial / in-house tax environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Tax (GST / VAT) and Individual Tax matters.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing or supporting tax compliance, tax audits, tax authority enquires, and tax investigations.
  • Exposure to tax matters in Brazil, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia would be highly advantageous.
  • SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and analyse large financial datasets.

POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst who combines deep analytical precision with a proactive, hands-on approach to support the Group's tax function across multiple jurisdictions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing corporate income tax, indirect taxes (GST / VAT), and employee-related tax matters, as well as assisting with transfer pricing related matters, all while ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and supporting business operations. This role is ideal for candidates with prior in-house (commercial) tax experience who have been exposed to a broad range of tax disciplines within a multinational environment.
