Your Role in Our Story: In essence, your role involves: Leading ACT's global sustainability compliance strategy across renewable fuels, gases, and energy products, ensuring alignment with regulatory and certification requirements. Your Expertise, Our Shared Success: To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes: University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. 6-8+ years of experience in sustainability compliance, renewable fuels, renewable gas, energy markets, or a related regulated industry. Strong expertise in sustainability certification and regulatory frameworks, including ISCC, REDcert, Better Biomass, RFS, LCFS, RPS, and REC programs. Proven experience leading compliance audits, certification programs, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements. Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams in an international, fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business solutions. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across functions, geographies, and external organizations. Ability to operate independently in ambiguous and evolving regulatory environments while driving process improvements and innovation. Clear and confident communication skills, with the credibility to engage senior leaders, regulators, auditors, and industry representatives. A proactive, coaching-oriented mindset with a passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
