We're seeking a Junior Fund Accountant to support fund operations through accurate transaction processing, reliable record-keeping, and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries for multiple funds.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Liaise with external service providers for invoice and payment processing.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audit preparation and coordination with fund administrators and auditors.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and process improvements.
- Respond to ad hoc queries from internal teams, such as Investor Relations and Fund Controllers.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to build technical expertise.

- EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years' experience with private equity funds in a finance role, either in-house or external; renewables experience is advantageous.
- Pursuing or intending to pursue a qualification in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Basic accounting knowledge and numerical accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
