Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site electrical installation activities to ensure timely and quality delivery of building projects
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to align project execution with requirements
• Verify that electrical works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines
• Conduct thorough site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to validate performance and safety
• Ensure all electrical installations adhere to Singapore regulations, codes of practice, and workplace safety standards
• Review and assess shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions to confirm technical accuracy and compliance
• Participate actively in site meetings, providing technical guidance and resolving issues to support project teams
• Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate documentation to track project status and compliance
• Required competencies and certifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore)
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Minimum [3-8] years of relevant experience in building construction projects in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations.
• Experience in handling authority submissions and inspections.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (BIM knowledge is an advantage).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
