Job Location GENEVA BUSINESS CENTER Job Description The Site Occupational Health Nurse Specialist at P&G Intl Operations SA is responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services, promoting employee wellbeing, and ensuring compliance with the Health Systems Key Elements and safety regulations at the assigned site. Job Responsibilities Provide immediate first aid and emergency care for work-related injuries and illnesses, in accordance with training as part of the site emergency response team, and coordinating with external medical services when necessary. Provide medical input, oversight, and/or training for site emergency response team. Manage and administer employee health programs, including vaccinations, health screenings, and wellness initiatives. Provide health education and counseling to employees on various topics such as ergonomics, stress management, business travel, and chronic disease prevention. Develop and implement return-to-work programs for employees following illness or injury, facilitating their safe and timely reintegration into the workplace. Delivery of quality care via Health Services. Ensure the highest standards of medical ethics and confidentiality are maintained. Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Calibrate and maintain all medical equipment and devices according to country and manufacturer standards Business alignment and integration, collaborate with and establish effective working relationships with business partners including site leadership, HR, HS&E, Employee Relations, and others. Collaborate with HS&E (Health, Safety and Environmental) teams to identify and assess workplace hazards, implement preventive measures, and conduct accident investigations. Ensure a system is established to provide preventive and medical management of employees at risk for occupational infections including international business travelers. Promote behavioral health programs at the site, e.g., Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Stress management. Ensure compliance with local and international occupational health and safety legislation and P&G corporate standards. Prepare and submit Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to show the level of risk control. Prepare and submit regular reports on occupational health activities, trends, and statistics to management. Advise management on occupational health issues, including ergonomic assessments, hygiene practices, and fitness for duty evaluations. Day in day out responsibility for identifying, assessing and mitigating the risk. Conduct 1Line HSKE (Health Systems Key Elements) Assessments by organizing documented evidence, identifying and calibrating issues, scoring and reporting of results. Participate in Medical Emergency Response, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Planning. Serve as an active member on the site crisis management and business continuity planning teams. Establish relationship with community emergency response provider and local hospitals Professional Development: maintain an active, unencumbered license and appropriate indemnity coverage if required by law. Maintain expertise in Occupational Health and involvement in internal and external networks and meetings to ensure implementation of relevant systems. Regularly meet with Manager and Sub-Regional Leader to discuss additional projects or responsibilities and align work priorities as part of MyImpact plan and Know and Grow plan. Attend the Europe Medical Meetings Job Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and valid license to practice as a nurse in the canton of Geneva (Droit de Pratique). The Swiss Red Cross recognizes Swiss Diplomas and foreign Diplomas to ensure healthcare professionals practice within the scope of Swiss regulations. With the Swiss nurse Bachelor or once the diploma has been recognized by the Swiss Red Cross the healthcare professional must request the "Droit de Pratique" the authorization to practice in the Canton of Geneva which is delivered by the "Service du Médecin cantonal" upon approval of the Cantonal Medical Doctor. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent; master's degree in occupational health or public health preferred. Clinical experience required. Certification in Occupational Health Nursing or equivalent is an asset. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices. Proficiency in first aid and emergency care procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee health information with discretion. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in relevant computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, occupational health software). Fluency in spoken and written English and the local language is required.
