Halal Assurance Officer (F&B) - Flexi 3 days - Tai Seng

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Halal Assurance System (HAS) / HalMQ documentation.
• Verify ingredients, suppliers, and Halal certificates to ensure compliance with MUIS requirements.
• Prepare documentation and support MUIS audits and Halal certification renewals.
• Conduct on-site Halal compliance checks and staff briefings when required.
• Liaise with suppliers, certifying bodies, and internal stakeholders on Halal-related matters.
• Ensure adherence to Halal standards and company compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Muslim candidate (as required by MUIS for the Halal Assurance Officer role).
• Certified Halal Assurance Officer recognised by MUIS is an advantage; training can be provided for suitable candidates.
• Experience with MUIS Halal certification, compliance, and audit processes is preferred.
• Background in F&B, food manufacturing, or food operations is preferred.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently.
