About the role

The Commercial FP&A Senior Analyst will be responsible for financial support of the Commercial line of business within the USIS division of Equifax, reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Finance and partnering with the Commercial SFO, business leaders and their leadership teams. The role includes providing proactive insightful financial analysis to enable the Commercial LOB to reach its short and long term strategic and financial objectives. This role will also provide coaching and leadership to the Commercial LOB RDP role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute monthly close and forecast routines, including analysis of revenue performance against a matrix business view
  • Partner with business leadership, operations and sales leaders on monthly financial forecasts and annual strategic growth plans
  • Own the bottoms-up budgeting and driver based forecasting activities of the respective segment of the LOB, working with various areas of the business, and responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the budget and forecast, including delivery of report summaries and presentations.
  • Support online and channel teams to explain matrix level (channel and vertical) performance.
  • Present to Commercial and USIS leadership on monthly performance and financial insights
  • Analyze and track new business revenue performance and expectations utilizing pipeline and sales team information
  • Develop and lead work plans for projects or initiatives of moderate to high complexity, including FP&A team process improvement initiatives
  • Lead the development of financial models for business cases and leadership decision support
  • Experience you'll have:
  • Bachelor degree in Finance or a related discipline required
  • 4-7 years of Finance experience, including strong financial analytics and modelling skills
  • Critical thinking skills, ability to adapt and prioritize multiple tasks, and operate independently with limited guidance and oversight
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and influence others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders
  • What'll set you apart:
  • Proficient in Hyperion Planning and Essbase is a plus
  • Tableau, or similar BI programs, experience is a plus
