Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

As a software engineer for antenna systems, you will collaborate with systems architects, hardware engineering design teams & FW/SW design teams to bring up and test systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking functions and build advanced tools for the following: - Characterizing subsystems and systems related to antennas - Complex data storage - Hardware test automation - Firmware design and implementation - Application development - Design automation for 2D and 3D structures - Develop bring up tools and scripts for phased array systems Key job responsibilities - Gathering requirements, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and launching high-quality, large-scale distributed software systems that solve significant customer problems - Developing the best customer experience, keeping latency, security, and usability in mind - Working across a broad range of AWS technologies to build advanced tools, distributed systems software and automation workflows - Developing solutions that scale across a broad range - Collaborating with a diverse range of cross-functional roles - systems architects, hardware engineering design teams & FW/SW design teams - Promoting a culture of engineering excellence by establishing best practices and technical standards across the organization - Leading and mentoring other talented engineers Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
