Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain multiple database platforms including Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL, oracle Encryption (TDE), Hardware Security Module (HSM)

Requirements

- Hands-on expertise with two or more of the following databases:
- Oracle Encryption (TDE)
- Hardware Security Module (HSM)
- Oracle (including Oracle RAC and RMAN backup/recovery)
- Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
- MySQL
- Experience with performance tuning, query optimisation, and index management
- Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and DR strategies
- Understanding of database security, access control, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work within structured ITSM processes for incident, change, and problem management
- Database vendor certifications (e.g. Oracle OCP, Microsoft MCSA/DBA track)
- Experience with cloud-hosted databases (e.g. AWS RDS, Aurora)
- Scripting skills for automation (SQL, Shell, Python)
