Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to equipment performance, TPM schedules, and maintenance KPIs.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor equipment reliability and maintenance compliance.
  • Support planning activities for material handling equipment (FFZ), battery systems, and trailers through data-driven insights.
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements to preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and logistics teams to ensure alignment of TPM plans with production goals.
  • Assist in forecasting spare parts requirements and optimizing inventory levels
  • Location & Travel Expectations :
  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, SC
  • This role requires daily attendance in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or a related technical field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment, preferably in a Logistics Equipment Repair role.
  • SAP ERP Certification preferred
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) - Focuses on maintenance and reliability best practices preferred
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) - Offered by APICS, useful for planning and inventory control preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) - For process improvement and efficiency preferred
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Certification - Specialized training in TPM principles preferred
  • OSHA Safety Certification - For compliance with workplace safety standards preferred
  • Material handling equipment (forklifts/FFZ), battery systems, trailers, and preventive maintenance programs preferred.
  • TPM principles, automotive manufacturing processes, safety standards, and spare parts management
  • Data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI), ERP systems (SAP), and maintenance planning software
  • Equipment lifecycle management, reliability engineering concepts, and compliance requirements in industrial environments.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, strong communication, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
