Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting activities that may include:
- Research and implement innovative technologies and/or processes
- Ensure all manufacturing technical documentation is up to date.
- Provide technical direction and oversight of internal resources and external vendor resources.
- Assist team members in problem solving and improving overall equipment efficiency.
- Provide day-to-day support of manufacturing operations and maintenance.
- Work with cross functional team members to resolve issues related to quality, process, and equipment.
- Participate in identifying and resolving safety and ergonomics issues.
- Facilitate and/or train team members and maintenance personnel. Develop training manuals as needed.
- Participate in planning and coordination activities to ensure all project tasks are completed within prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
- Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in engineering support role in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing
- Prior experience with CNC machining and or programming
- Previous experience with computer- based office and engineering software, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Ability to work off shifts and weekends as well as overtime as needed

- Knowledge of high-volume precision grinding and machining
- Knowledge of hypoid bevel gear manufacturing
