About the role

Key Roles & Responsibilities Pick-up and Delivery : Responsible for the punctual and professional collection and delivery of all guest laundry and dry-cleaning items. Marking and Recording : Count and verify all items collected against the laundry list provided by the guest. Ensure guest names, room numbers, and item counts are accurately recorded to avoid discrepancies. Item Inspection : Thoroughly check garments for any existing damage, stains, or items left in pockets (e.g., jewelry, cash) and report these to a supervisor immediately before processing. Adherence to Brand Standards : Ensure all are strictly followed during the pick-up and delivery process. Guest Request Fulfillment : Confirm that specific instructions-such as folding trousers, light starch, or folding shirts-are perfectly adhered to. Administrative Support : Accurately record guest and staff laundry charges and assist with tracking staff uniforms in a timely manner. Operational Assistance : Carry out general valet services as needed, including the delivery of fresh linen and assisting with inventories. Qualifications & Attributes Experience : Typically requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity within a luxury hotel environment. Communication Skills : Must have a good command of English (reading, writing, and oral proficiency) to handle guest queries professionally. Professionalism : Must be well-presented and maintain high standards of Grooming &Hygiene at all times. Key Traits : High attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a "guest-focused" mindset are essential for this high-touch role.
