Financial Reporting Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience: 3 to 4 years of accounting and/or financial reporting experience
• License: Certified Public Accounting (CPA) License is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of FASB reporting standards and the audit process, extensive proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including Power Pivot), experience utilizing financial reporting tools, ideally Tableau.
• Core Competencies: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, conceptual skills, attention to detail, and exceptional oral & written communication skills.

The University of Notre Dame is seeking two (2) Financial Reporting Managers to join the Financial Reporting and Analysis team within the University Controller's Office. Working under the direction of the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis, these individuals will play key roles in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and clarity of the University's financial information. The ideal candidates will assist in the preparation and delivery of critical financial reports to university leadership, the broader campus community, and external stakeholders. This role requires an analytical thinker who can research accounting guidance, monitor and maintain financial data integrity, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy for annual audits and various financial reports, both internal and external to the University.
