POSITION SUMMARY The operations and performance measurement specialist supports the manager, quality and performance with the development and implementation of the Knowledge Institute's operational plans and leads the planning, monitoring and reporting of operational activities. The specialist also leads the Knowledge Institute's evaluation and performance measurement activities, such as continuously refining the Knowledge Institute's performance measurement framework [e.g. selection of key performance indicators (KPIs), data collection, data analysis, reporting], supporting staff with evaluation planning and outcome measurement at the programmatic level and championing evaluation processes at all levels of the organization to inform organizational and strategic decision-making. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the development of the Knowledge Institute's annual operational plan Leads the Knowledge Institute's project planning activities Builds the Knowledge Institute's operational plan and KPIs in Microsoft Lists and/or other databases or systems Works with colleagues to continuously improve MS Lists and other project management/client relationship management tools Guides leadership to monitor operational targets and deliverables on an ongoing basis to ensure planned deliverables are achieved or to promote course changes, as needed Supports the development of key evidence-informed processes and tools to support the leadership team in strategic thinking and decision making, as directed Continually enhances the Knowledge Institute's performance measurement framework (including key performance indicators) and organizational logic model to measure organizational impact Conducts ongoing research to ensure the Knowledge Institute's performance measurement framework is leading in its field; suggesting enhancements when and where appropriate Coordinates data collection and quality assurance processes to ensure performance measurement data is being collected and tracked accurately Uses performance measurement data to report on key performance indicators, quarterly and annually; occasionally reports directly to the Knowledge Institute's advisory councils. Drafts the Knowledge Institute's quarterly performance reports and develops/supports other reports, that are submitted to the Knowledge Institute's advisory councils and funder Works with the Knowledge Institute's various teams in the development of evaluation plans and process/outcome measurement tools Provides direct coaching and consultation to Knowledge Institute staff on evaluation and performance measurement (i.e. feedback loops, reflective practice, evidence-based decision-making) Oversees the development and management of data collection tools in Survey Monkey Supports the implementation of the Knowledge Institute's learning organization model by participating in rela
