About the role

Program coordination: Support planning and coordination of RAC Ignite initiatives, events, activations and campaigns across metro and regional WA. Team admin istration and logistics : Coordinate bookings, venues, program logistics , and maintain team records and documentation. About you Demonstrated experience coordinating programs and events, with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Experience or intere st in working with young people. Ability to work autonomously with h igh energy and initiative , and able to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment. A friendly, confident and reliable team player who enjoys collaborating and helping others. Strong communication skills, with the ability to write and speak in a way that connects with young people and stakeholders. Confident building relationships with a mix of partners (local government, community organisations, agencies) and internal teams. A growth mindset , open to feedback and looking for better ways to do things. Comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) and keen to learn new systems. Qualifications or experience in either youth engagement, community development, education, project coordination or a related field (desirable).

We help young West ern Australians build confidence, grow leadership skills , navigate key life stage s and help them to have a real say in shaping a ' Better WA ' . Working with our Youth Engagement Team, you'll coordinate experiences that support young people to be safer drivers , choose cleaner transport and thriv e in their communities. You'll help bring RAC Ignite programs to life by keeping plans on track and programs running smoothly. With support from the team, you'll also get the chance to build your own skills by helping shape and improve new programs .
