Responsibilities
- Assess the impact of evolving accounting standards and coordinate the implementation of new accounting pronouncements
- Review financial statements, including MD&A and footnotes, and lead disclosure checklist reviews, ensuring financial statements disclosures comply with GAAP requirements and in line with industry practice
- Assist in the development of training on technical topics and presentation to the Company

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
- CPA with 6+ years of working experience, including public accounting experience; Big 4 preferred
- Excellent accounting research and analytical skills
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, including a good understanding of financial instruments, transfers of financial assets, consolidation, investment management products, and structured transactions
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and coordinate several tasks at one time, prioritize effectively, and set/achieve deadlines for key deliverables
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
- Teamwork / Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively work in team-oriented environment

Job Description Reporting to the Head of Accounting Policy, the AVP, Accounting Policy will lead/assist in providing technical accounting oversight for Antares Holdings, third party funds, and BDCs and assist with other financial reporting initiatives for Antares. An ability to manage multiple tasks while working under strict time deadlines is essential. Our ideal candidate is independent, motivated, detail‐orientated and able to analyze data and convey conclusions effectively, with a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
