About the role
As a Civil Engineer (Land Development), you will lead the design and delivery of grading, drainage, utilities, permitting, and construction administration while managing projects and building client relationships. Coordinate with clients, architects, permitting agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and resource planning. Navigate regulatory requirements and secure necessary approvals and permits. Monitor project performance and ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards. Progress toward Engineer of Record responsibilities and project management with experience and licensure Client Engagement & Business Development Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including supporting proposals, interviews, and client development efforts. Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations leadership to expand market presence and client base. Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the land development practice. Team Leadership & Mentorship Mentor and develop engineers and design staff to support project delivery and professional growth. Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure consistency and quality across project teams. Foster a collaborative team environment that supports knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
