We are seeking a Transaction Associate to join the Transactions team at Teamshares. This person will sit at the top of our deal funnel, conducting active, ongoing outreach and discovery calls with sellers and M&A advisors, performing deal qualification, and completing historical financial underwriting on opportunities. Beyond evaluating inbound deals, this person will help grow Teamshares' deal pipeline directly-developing and maintaining relationships with lower middle market bankers, business brokers, and professional advisors who originate our acquisition opportunities, and running structured outreach so that Teamshares stays top of mind when a qualifying business comes to market. They will work closely with senior transaction team members who will take the lead on advancing deals toward LOI and closing. The ideal candidate has a background in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or accounting and brings strong communication skills, sharp analytical instincts, and genuine curiosity about the SMB space. This is a high-output, high-learning role with direct exposure to deal flow and the SMB acquisition process from day one.
