About the role

You will serve as a Manager for the Fleet Engagement and Field Team Operations Branch (Code 60F) in the Undersea Warfare Mission Engineering and Analysis Department (Code 60) of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This is an interdisciplinary position and may be filled by a General Engineer (0801-series), an Oceanography (1360-series), a Mathematician (1501/1515-series), or a Computer Scientist (1550-series) depending upon the qualifications of the candidate. ND-05: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12 and GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer, scientist, or mathematician directing and overseeing personnel and resources in the conduct of complex Fleet Undersea Warfare Systems analyses and/or on-site operatinal and technical support to Fleet warfighting activities. ND-04: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 pay band (GS-09-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer, scientist or mathematician providing technical advice related to fleet operations and conducting analyses of Undersea Warfare systems.
