Designer - Roles & Responsibilities Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings to gather required information Read and interpret architectural specifications and associated documents to gather required information Based on information provided, provide plans for fully engineered components Outputs include engineered Wall, Floor and Roof designs and other customer specific requirements. Review drawings and documents for errors or deficiencies and provide solutions Maintain accurate records of valuable company information Participate in customer meetings to receive feedback on projects Modify files to adopt customer change requests Ensure completed work complies with customer instructions and specifications Participate in company continuous improvement projects or activities As part of delivering good customer service, develop your English skills Other reasonable duties as assigned *** Requirements: A University or College degree is required Basic communication in English Proficient in reading construction plans Have knowledge of construction methods Ability to learn new software programs Understand and be able to demonstrate good customer service practice 2. Drafter - Roles & Responsibilities Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings to gather required information Read and interpret architectural specifications and associated documents to gather required information Based on information provided, provide computer aided design (CAD) drawings using the specified software program (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, etc.) Outputs include Master Plans, Red Line Markups, Structural Details, Shop Drawings and other CAD based tasks or customer specific requirements Review drawings and documents for errors or deficiencies and provide solutions Maintain accurate records of valuable company information Participate in customer meetings to receive feedback on projects Modify files to adopt customer change requests Ensure completed work complies with customer instructions and specifications Participate in company continuous improvement projects or activities As part of delivering good customer service, develop your English skills Other reasonable duties as assigned. *** Requirements: A University or College degree is required Basic communication in English Proficient in reading construction plans Proficient in using CAD software (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit) Have knowledge of construction methods Understand and be able to demonstrate good customer service practices 3. Estimator - Role & Responsibilities Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings to gather required information Read and interpret architectural specifications and associated documents to gather required information Based on information provided, provide estimated values or quantities of products Outputs include Bills of Materials, Purchase Orders, Variation Orders, Sales Quotes, and other customer specific requirements Review drawings and documents for errors or deficiencies and provide solutions Maintain accurate records of valuable company information Participate in customer meetings to receive feedback on projects Modify files to adopt customer change requests Ensure completed work complies with customer instructions and specifications Participate in company continuous improvement projects or activities As part of delivering good customer service, develop your English skills Other reasonable duties as assigned *** Requirements A University or College degree is required Basic communication in English Proficient in reading construction plans Have knowledge of construction methods Ability to learn new software programs Understand and be able to demonstrate good customer service practices
