Responsibilities

• Provide subject-matter expertise in US agency and non-agency MBS, CMOs, and Rates , supporting trading, structuring, and/or client solutions activities.
• Execute and manage complex transactions while adhering to TD Securities' risk, conduct, and regulatory frameworks.
• Partner closely with trading, sales, structuring, and risk teams to deliver integrated market solutions.
• Monitor macroeconomic, rates, and mortgage market developments and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Support client engagement by delivering market commentary, trade ideas, and product insights.
• Contribute to business growth initiatives, including product development, balance sheet optimization, and market expansion where applicable.
• Act as a senior resource within the team, providing guidance to junior colleagues and contributing to overall desk performance.
• Experience & Qualifications
• 5 -12+ years of relevant experience within a financial institution or dealer environment.
• Demonstrated experience across US Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), CMOs, and Rates products .
• Strong understanding of mortgage structures, cash-flow modeling, prepayment risk, and interest rate dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage risk, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions in volatile market conditions.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage credibly with internal stakeholders and clients.
