About the role

This position is located at US Mint, Financial Directorate - Human Capital Division. As a Human Resources Officer, you will administer a comprehensive personnel management program to include wage administration, strategic planning in the areas of recruitment and outreach, organization development, position management, employee/labor relations, development and training, performance management, disputes and technical representation, and interpretation of personnel records and reports. You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Performing a variety of human resources functions, using concepts, principles, laws, regulations and practices including, but not limited to compensation, performance management, classification, employee/labor relations, employee development, staffing and recruitment, position management; AND - Developing, interpreting and/or advising senior management on human resources policies and administration; AND - Providing recommendations and solutions to management officials, along with planning, developing and managing work of subordinates. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
