Design Program Manager - WhatsApp, GenAI

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design program management
• Experience handling complexity and navigating ambiguity with teams on large scale, 0 to 1 projects from concept to execution
• Experience working with product teams from roadmapping through delivery
• Experience working directly with product designers, user experience researchers, and content designers
• Experience consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate
• Experience managing time-critical projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a wide-range of stakeholders
• Experience with the Product Design Lifecycle, with knowledge of sprints and workshops
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
• Strong interest in the GenAI space

• $157,000/year to $218,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Design Program Manager - WhatsApp, GenAI Responsibilities: Identify and drive large, organization-level product initiatives that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, multiple dependencies and many moving parts Impact-focused prioritization - assessing tradeoffs to propose clear solutions Communicate strategically & effectively successfully influence your audience for buy-in and feedback Identify, define and manage multi-team strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and impact, often contributing best practices to the discipline Drive progress against goals and objective establish clear next steps and owners, while resolving blocks that impede progress Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teams Champion design operations and act as a trusted leader across the team & company, mentoring and sharing expertise with less seasoned team members Proactively problem solve and distribute information effectively Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives - both qualitatively and quantitatively - continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoption Scale programs and initiatives when necessary and delegate effectively with clear expectations Gain in-depth product knowledge to effectively establish and contribute to product strategies
