About the role

Storable is looking for a Manager, HRIS, Analytics & Payroll to lead and scale our global HR systems, payroll operations, reporting, and People data infrastructure that support employees across the business. In this role, you will own the administration, optimization, and ongoing evolution of our HRIS and payroll ecosystem, including employee data governance, reporting, workflow automation, compliance support, and People analytics. You will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, IT, and external vendors to improve operational efficiency, strengthen data integrity, and deliver actionable workforce insights across the business. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who combines strong HR systems expertise, analytical depth, payroll operations knowledge, and a process-improvement mindset. You'll play a key role in standardizing and scaling our People infrastructure globally while helping leaders make better decisions through accurate data, reporting, dashboards, and automation. What you'll do every day Own the administration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of our HRIS and payroll ecosystem, including employee data, system functionality, workflows, integrations, reporting, and vendor coordination. Build, maintain, and improve standard and ad hoc reporting across key People metrics such as headcount, attrition, compensation, hiring, and engagement trends. Translate People data into actionable insights, dashboards, and reporting that support leadership decision-making, workforce planning, and operational improvements. Review and finalize payroll operations for the U.S., India, Romania, and Australia, ensuring accuracy of pay changes, bonuses, commissions, and related payroll inputs while maintaining strong partnership with payroll providers. Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and scale People workflows through improved system design, integrations, reporting infrastructure, and emerging AI-enabled practices. Support global compliance efforts by producing required reports, maintaining strong data governance practices, and helping ensure systems and processes align with applicable regulations and privacy requirements. Lead day-to-day People Operations processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality employee lifecycle support across onboarding, I-9 verification, visa updates, job changes, and related personnel transactions. Provide operational support for annual People programs and initiatives, including benefits enrollment, compensation cycles, audits, and related projects. Serve as a point of escalation for HR systems, payroll, and operational support requests while continuously improving service delivery processes and operational workflows. What you need to bring 8+ years of experience across HRIS, payroll operations, People analytics, HR data/reporting, and People Operations environments, including 2+ years of payroll experience. Experience managing HRIS and payroll platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Rippling, Workday, or similar systems, including configuration, administration, reporting, data integrity, and process optimization. 3+ years of people management experience, including leading or coaching team members within HRIS, payroll, analytics, or People Operations functions. Strong experience reviewing payroll processes and supporting accurate, compliant payroll operations across multiple geographies. Proven ability to build reports, dashboards, and workforce insights for leadership teams, with advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills and comfort working with HR data at scale. Working knowledge of HR compliance, data privacy, and reporting requirements, with strong attention to detail, judgment, and cross-functional communication. Experience improving workflows, automation, and operational processes across HR systems and shared services environments. Bonus points Experience using SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools to support People analytics and reporting. Experience supporting a global, multi-country organization with distributed teams and multiple vendors. Experience working within a Jira- or ticket-based operational support environment. Demonstrated interest in applying AI and automation to improve HR processes, reporting, and employee experience. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
