  • Ability to quickly learn and retain information.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively within a team and provide timely follow-up when needed.
  • Ability to listen and interpret the customer's needs, de-escalate difficult customer calls, while at the same time researching the issue and applying broad business and technical knowledge to meet the customer's satisfaction.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and training workshops on complex information in a relatable manner.
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse membership, employees and/or vendors in a clear and precise manner.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) in the day-to-day essential duties of the job.

Final compensation determined by individual qualifications, experience and internal equity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides superior client service and executes comprehensive relationship management strategy for retaining Homestead Funds' clients.Maintains expert knowledge of Homestead Funds products and services, staying current on IRS tax guidelines.Communicates by phone with shareholders and potential shareholders, utilizing a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to track contact and follow-up points, measure retention success, and ensure high level of client service and high retention rates.Conducts over-the-phone and in-person portfolio reviews and recommends specific, customized asset allocation strategies.Proactively informs clients of new products and services and educates clients on various investing concepts, provides advanced notification of and assistance with client actions.Collaborates with transfer agent, team members and management to ensure service excellence and consistent messaging and communications.Presents Homestead Funds information on financial wellness, funds, account types, and services at events where appropriate.401(k)Remote work optionsEquity / stock options
