The Opportunity (Job description): The Computational Catalysis Group, led by Prof. Shyam Kattel at the University of Central Florida, has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher position. An ideal candidate should have experience in modeling electrochemical reactions on surfaces and interfaces using first-principles density functional theory (DFT), grand canonical DFT (GC-DFT) calculations, microkinetic modeling, and machine learning methods, and in developing machine learning interatomic potentials (MLIPs).
