About the role
As a Disability Support Worker within a CPA SIL home, your role is focused on providing support to clients in a domestic setting (in the home). You will make a meaningful difference through supporting clients with daily living needs such as cooking and mealtimes and helping with cleaning & general household tasks. - Strong understanding of behaviour support strategies
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable with good availability across a variety of shifts (including early mornings, weekends, and active nights)
- Essential Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P2)
- Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role
- Willingness to work a rotating roster
- Full working rights in Australia
- Favourable: Relevant qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar)
