Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize electrochemical sensors, with a focus on gas-sensing applications (CO, H₂S, NOx, O₃, VOCs).
• Design sensor materials, electrode structures, and device architectures to meet industrial performance and reliability requirements.
• Lead innovation projects and translate technical concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions. - Support the development of flexible sensors, wearable sensors, and e-skin devices, including new materials and structural designs.
• Work closely with process, product, and manufacturing teams to enable smooth technology transfer and scale-up.
• Monitor industry trends and provide technical insights for product roadmap planning.
• Required Experience & Skills
• Background in electrochemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience in electrochemical or biochemical sensor development; electrochemical gas sensor experience strongly preferred.
• Understanding of the gas-sensor industry, including application scenarios, performance metrics, and mainstream technologies.
• Experience with flexible/wearable sensors or e-skin is a strong plus. - Familiarity with electrochemical testing methods (CV, EIS, LSV, chronoamperometry).
• Ability to use AI-related tools for data analysis, material screening, experiment planning, or literature review. o Requires understanding of basic circuit logic and AI model logic, but no coding is required.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and cross-team communication. Preferred Qualifications - Publications or patents in gas sensors, electrochemical materials, or micro/nano-sensor technologies. - Knowledge of MEMS processes, microfabrication, or sensor packaging.
• Experience supporting sensor products from R&D to commercialization
