Responsibilities
- Network Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor network infrastructure, WAN/LAN links, firewalls, load balancers, and data center equipment using NMS/monitoring tools.

- Security & Compliance
- Monitor and respond to security-related network events in coordination with the security team.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and change control standards.
- Support audit exercises and maintain evidence for control checkpoints.
- Continuous Improvement
- Recommend enhancements to monitoring dashboards, alert thresholds, and operational workflows.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to reduce manual operational tasks.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and develop procedural runbooks.
- To adopt tools and systems, such as JIRA, Confluence to enhance operation tasks and productivity
Requirements
- Education & Professional Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in network operations, NOC environment, or L1/L2 support roles.
- Previous experience in regulated environments, e.g. banking, financial institution, exchanges, is an added advantage, not a must
- Holder of Cisco CCNP or equivalent (Huawei HCIP) is required
- Holder of ITIL Foundation is a plus
- Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, VPN, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Arista network devices.
- Familiarity with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point) is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, SevOne, Zabbix, Netbrain).
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Experience in programming with Python for network automation is a plus
