About the role

£47,389 - £59,966 pa (Grade 8) £61,759 - £75,917 pa (Grade 9) Depending on qualifications and experience Hybrid Working 2 days/week on Campus or minimum requirement of 40% on Campus, with 60% considered desirable where possible The Department of Psychology, within the Institute of Population Health, is looking for exceptional early to mid-career researchers to contribute to our research, impact and teaching activity. You should have a strong record of internationally excellent publications, and research activity aligned to the research strengths of the Department including addiction, appetite and obesity, clinical and cognitive neuroscience (including pain), forensic, investigative and conflict psychology, language development and lifespan, health and wellbeing (see job description for priority areas). You will also contribute to teaching and supervision on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes. You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline, a track record of publications in high quality journals, and be able to demonstrate research independence, leadership, and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively. The posts are available on a teaching and research career pathway at Grades 8 and 9 and on a permanent basis. The University supports hybrid working where possible, but the successful candidate for this role would be expected to be based on campus for the majority of the time and would need to adapt their working arrangements around the required teaching delivery.
