Responsibilities

  • Represent the accessibility functional area in infrastructure and operations planning forums, ensuring accessibility is integrated across milestones and reviews
  • Coordinate with venue delivery and logistics teams to validate accessible routes, seating, restrooms, and spectator areas
  • Support readiness reviews, test events, and operational exercises to confirm accessibility preparedness
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain up-to-date records of accessibility assessments, corrective actions, and readiness status
  • Contribute to risk registers, dashboards, and reports for Accessibility leadership and delivery FAs
  • Support knowledge sharing by contributing lessons learned to Accessibility tools and templates
  • Background & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in infrastructure or venue operations with a focus on accessibility or compliance
  • Demonstrated experience applying accessibility standards in infrastructure or event environments
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management processes
  • Knowledge of:
  • Accessibility codes and standards including ADA, sections 504/508, California building code 2025, and familiarity with the IPC Accessibility Guide preferred.
  • Venue and infrastructure planning, design, and construction processes
  • Compliance verification, auditing, and accessibility inspection procedures
  • Operational readiness planning and testing for large-scale events
  • Skill in:
  • Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across infrastructure, operations, and logistics
  • Reviewing design documentation and identifying accessibility gaps
  • Managing audits, inspections, and issue resolution workflows
  • Tracking progress using projec

Manager, Infrastructure & Operations The Manager, Infrastructure & Operations ensures that accessibility is embedded into infrastructure planning, venue design, overlay, and operational readiness for all LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accessibility Planning & Delivery, this role collaborates with Functional Areas (FAs) including Venue Infrastructure (VNI), Logistics (LOG), Transport (TRA), Security (SEC), and Workforce (WKF) to ensure all built environments and operational systems meet accessibility standards. This position leads accessibility audits, risk assessments, and readiness reviews for competition and non-competition venues, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and international accessibility standards and alignment with the LA28 Accessibility Strategy and Enhancement Program.
