Bar Supervisor

About the role

MAIN OPERATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Plan and prepare duty schedules in accordance with the business forecast to ensure operation runs smoothly.  Supervise bar staff and ensure high standards of service of beverages. Ensure staff provide professional, friendly and efficient service at all times.  Maintain security of operating equipment in the bar and beverage and food stocks in the bar areas.  Perform regular inventories of beverage and operating equipment.  Maintain and control all bar stocks and ensure effective control procedures.  Prepare sufficient mise en place for all bar operations according to the daily business forecast.  Assist in the training and development of bar staff to operate to the required standards of the club. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL: Complete knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including of wines and spirits Skilled bar service; cocktails and mixed drinks Excellent social & personal skills Knowledge of F&B control procedures
