- Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- Four years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated capability using and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
- Six months of related technical experience involving product development from conceptualization to manufacturing to final transition/delivery, including design, collaboration, execution, documentation, and revision.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and easily interpretable documentation, and to quickly and correctly implement corrections to existing documents.
- Professional experience interpreting and producing technical drawings per ASME Y14.5.
- Ability to work several overlapping projects with various engineering teams.
- Ability to work within an environment of rapidly changing priorities, and the ability to prioritize/resolve competing priorities.
- Able to work under pressure, accept constructive criticism, and rapidly implement revisions with and without supervision.
- Experience writing technical instructions.
- Effectively communicate with a varied group of coworker and client personality types.
- Ability to efficiently and promptly communicate through multiple channels including email and collaboration/messaging platforms.
- Regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Engineering and Computer Aided Design - Mechanical Specialization with 5 years related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in mechanical design, specification, fabrication and testing of mechanical assemblies, cable harness assemblies, and electronic printed circuit card assemblies.
- Knowledge of manual milling, CNC milling and programming, general power tools, and the ability to inspect parts with calipers and micrometers.
- Experience using electronic assembly and diagnostic equipment including soldering irons, oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Experience with detailed design and analysis of system hardware and complex mechanical-electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with machine shops to procure mechanical components based on ARL documentation, and with vendors to procure commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) parts.
