About the role

Neo4j is seeking an experienced, strategic, and entrepreneurial leader to own, scale, and transform our partnerships with major Global System Integrators (GSIs) based in India. As the Head of GSI Partnerships, you will design, build, and lead our regional partner strategy, drive co-sell revenue, and build out a high-performing alliance team as our market presence grows. This is a crucial "player-coach" role requiring a blend of executive relationship management, technical blueprint alignment (particularly around Graph+GenAI and Data Science), and hands-on team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive GSI partner strategy for India. Build, formalise, and scale strategic relationships at the executive, practice lead, and delivery levels within top-tier Indian GSIs.
  • Hire, manage, and mentor a small, growing team of partner managers. Establish clear KPIs, foster a high-performance culture, and scale the team headcount in alignment with regional revenue growth.
  • Drive pipeline generation and influenced revenue through active co-selling with GSIs. Work alongside Neo4j's direct field sales teams to map accounts, align sales motions, and secure large enterprise wins via partner networks.
  • Evangelise Neo4j within GSI data, analytics, and GenAI practices. Drive developer certifications, technical training, and enablement to ensure GSIs can independently architect and deliver Neo4j solutions.
  • Collaborate with GSI Center of Excellence (CoE) teams and Neo4j product engineering to build repeatable, industry-specific solutions (e.g., Fraud Tech in BFSI, Supply Chain optimisation, or GraphRAG architectures for Enterprise AI).
  • Track, measure, and report on GSI-influenced pipeline, sales velocity, and certifications. Maintain rigorous governance and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with GSI executive sponsors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering; an MBA is highly preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, or partner management within enterprise software (SaaS/Cloud/Data).
  • 5+ years of experience managing or leading small partner/sales teams, with a proven track record of acting as an effective "player-coach."
  • Deep, existing relationships and credibility within the executive leadership levels of major Indian GSIs.
  • Solid understanding of the cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP), data platforms, analytics, and the emerging Enterprise AI/Large Language Model (LLM) landscape.
  • Exceptional executive presence, negotiation, and cross-functional orchestration skills. Ability to navigate complex, matrixed global organisations seamlessly.
