Duties & Responsibilities: Within this position you will evaluate reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production; plans, designs and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical systems and/or DSP systems. As part of the development of our measuring devices, you will be involved in all phases of project development: Analysis of the specifications and proposing technical solutions in conjunction with our marketing team. Design / realization / validation of electronic boards. Integration of electronic boards in a multi-technological context (Mechanical, Optical and Software) with other groups within our R&D department. Definition of adjustment and calibration procedures for the product to be put into production with VIAVI industrialization department. Performance review and specification validation. Develop new ideas for improving the design, functionality, performance, reliability, and efficiency of the products. Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: To be successful in this position you will have: Electronic Engineering Degree (classical training preferred CPGE/Ecole d'lingenieur) Experience in the field of optics and fiber-optic measurement (ideally measurement acquisition chain) Background in R&D - experience of analogue electronics in relation to product development and design Knowledge of optical technologies and optical components Significant experience in optic component reliability Fluency in English language skills given international operation If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
