About the role

We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Part-time Sales Lead to join us in shaping the retail experience for our San Diego store. In this role, you'll be a leader in our store, guiding and motivating the team to provide stellar customer experiences. Responsibilities

  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience is delivered 100% of the time
  • Be a leader on the sales floor
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store by owning an area of responsibility
  • Manage and implement daily zoning schedules
  • Lead meetings at the beginning of shifts to communicate daily goals and updates
  • Fulfill opening and closing duties
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and ongoing training
  • We're looking for someone with
  • 1-3 years of experience in a retail (or service-oriented) environment
  • Someone who is passionate, friendly, and positive
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong judgment and a service- and solution-oriented approach
  • The ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and enthusiastically
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekend shifts
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time, physically move products and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The compensation for this role is $19.75 - $20.75 per hour.
  • In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in a quarterly bonus program with a target % based on your role.
  • Beyond base compensation and bonus, we offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbor Match, have commuter benefits, and provide a quarterly product allowance
