You are a trusted advisor and local expert for international clients navigating the Dutch employment landscape. Alongside day-to-day HR support, you also contribute to broader HR Services projects for clients whose needs go beyond Employer of Record solutions. You will work closely with clients, colleagues in Breda, and HR specialists across Europe. What You'll Do Every day, you will work with international companies that rely on Parakar to be their local HR expert in the Netherlands. You will advise on employment-related matters, support employees and managers, and help clients stay compliant while creating a strong employee experience. Your responsibilities include: Acting as the first HR point of contact for international clients and their employees in the Netherlands; Advising on onboarding, offboarding, immigration, absence, performance, leave, employment law, and HR policies; Supporting clients with broader HR consultancy assignments and HR Services projects beyond Employer of Record (EOR) solutions; Translating complex client questions into practical and compliant HR solutions; Working closely with payroll, legal, and HR colleagues from other country teams to deliver a seamless client experience; Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as their sparring partner on local HR matters; Contributing to process improvements and helping Parakar stay future-focused in the way we work and support our clients. You are an HR professional with a consultancy mindset, strong communication skills, and the confidence to advise international clients in a fast-changing environment. You recognize yourself in the following: You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level; You have around 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in HR, preferably in a consultancy, international, or client-facing environment; You have solid knowledge of Dutch HR and employment legislation; Experience with Belgium HR or employment legislation is a strong plus; You enjoy combining operational HR support with more complex HR consultancy assignments; You are tech-savvy and feel comfortable working in an environment where systems, tools, and ways of working continue to evolve; You are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-moving organization that is still growing and developing; You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written; You are available to work from our Breda office on a regular basis.
