RESPEC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to provide project management and engineering services at our Fort Myers or Sarasota locations. The position will focus on a wide variety of public and private land development projects in the Southwest Florida area. Projects may include commercial and mixed-use centers, residential subdivisions, municipal/public safety facilities and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have at least a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience, a Professional Engineering (PE) Certification, and 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with project and direct report employee responsibility. The candidate should have competencies in: Coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies and design team members on an ongoing basis Project management Civil site and grading design Roadway/transportation design Utility design & modeling Stormwater management design and modeling Construction plans and specifications production Familiar with Florida Dept. of Transportation design and permitting requirements for access and drainage. Experience obtaining necessary permits and approval for multi-discipline land development projects Proposal writing, budgeting and project financial management We are seeking a team player who strives to provide quality work, meet project needs, and deliver projects on time and who can work independently on multiple priorities.
