We are seeking a Sr. Privacy Specialist to spearhead the documentation and maintenance of Amazon customer service (CS) data processing activities through comprehensive Records of Processing and Impact Assessments. They orchestrate systematic reviews of privacy documentation, working closely with CS Legal and system owners to ensure accuracy and completeness of all required records. Through strategic risk assessments and change management processes, they identify high-risk processing activities and implement appropriate documentation and mitigation measures. They maintain quality standards for privacy documentation while conducting regular Kale reviews to verify ongoing compliance across CS systems. Key job responsibilities - Lead a comprehensive gap analysis of ROPs and DPIAs across all CS-owned systems - In partnership with CS Legal, design and execute a privacy documentation remediation plan to achieve 100% documentation completeness - Lead end-to-end privacy documentation lifecycle in partnership with process owners - Drive completion of comprehensive RoP/DPIA questionnaires to capture critical data processing details from business stakeholders - Analyze system owner responses to develop and maintain accurate ROP documentation reflecting current processing activities - Conduct strategic assessments to determine DPIA requirements based on processing risk profiles - Partner with CS Legal and process owners to execute required DPIAs, ensuring thorough risk evaluation and mitigation strategies - Establish and maintain systematic review cycles for existing ROPs and DPIAs to ensure continuous accuracy and compliance - Implement robust change management processes to capture and document material updates to processing activities - Advocate for privacy best practices and lead privacy reviews via Kale
