About the role

As Hillel Ontario continues to expand its impact across campuses, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director Campus Support (DCS) to empower our campus teams in achieving success & engagement goals. This role serves as a critical bridge between senior leadership and campus teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and strong execution across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring regular in-person presence across multiple campuses to coach, support, and elevate team performance and overall impact. These campus visits will augment remote support and contact with students and campus staff alike. This Sr. DCS will strengthen campus performance by establishing clear accountability, building team capacity, and providing the training, tools, and resources campus teams need to effectively advance organizational priorities-including scaling student engagement, leadership development, and advocacy initiatives toward our goal of reaching 10,000 students. This opportunity is designed for a seasoned, high-energy leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about supporting frontline professionals and student leaders. You will play a key role in translating organizational vision into meaningful, on-the-ground impact, ensuring campus teams are empowered, aligned, and equipped to meet the evolving needs of Jewish students and the broader campus community.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Execution
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to operationalize organizational priorities across campuses, ensuring alignment with the unique context of each campus.
  • Translate high-level strategy into clear frameworks, goals, and plans that enable campus teams to execute effectively with clear success metrics.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and strategic support to campus professionals, helping them navigate challenges, prioritize effectively, and continuously improve their work.
  • Ensure effective implementation of central frameworks across campus engagement areas, including education, wellness, and leadership development at the campus level.
  • Monitor, track, and report on implementation progress across campuses to drive consistency and accountability.
  • Surface barriers to execution and work cross-functionally to resolve them.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Provide hands-on, in-the-field coaching during regular campus visits.
  • Translate organizational priorities into clear, actionable expectations and success metrics for campus teams.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor campus leads/directors across multiple campuses, providing onboarding, ongoing cohort support, and the training, resources, and guidance needed
  • Support campus staff in goal-setting, performance management, and professional growth, fostering leadership development and strengthening team capacity.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
  • Campus Impact & Student Engagement
  • Guide campus teams in designing and executing impactful, student-led programming in areas of advocacy, wellness, education, and leadership development.
  • Encourage creativity, ownership, and diverse expressions of Jewish identity and community.
  • Ensure alignment between organizational goals and campus-level engagement strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key student leaders to incorporate and amplify their perspective
  • Operations & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Ensure strong operational discipline across campuses (planning, budgeting, reporting, CRM usage) to enable effective program delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee campus-level data tracking and reporting.
  • Coach campuses in building sustainable systems and workflows.
  • Identify gaps and implement solutions that improve efficiency and impact.
  • Standardize best practices across campuses while allowing for appropriate local nuance.
  • Crisis Leadership & Student Support
  • Ensure staff feel supported and equipped to navigate complex situations
  • Provide calm, steady leadership during moments of campus tension or crisis
  • Coordinate with internal teams and campus partners to support
