Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): taking vital signs, responding to call lights, Electronic Medical Record documentation, personal care, including bathing, mouth care, toileting and skin care. Our ideal candidates will be reliable, flexible, compassionate and empathetic. Must have a strong sense of teamwork and a focus on providing the best possible care to our patients. Extraordinary time management is a must on our fast-paced inpatient units. We have all specialties within our hospital and are currently looking for Licensed Nursing Assistants to join our Inpatient Psych unit and Alternative Care unit. Current LNA openings are on the following units: General Surgery - Full time Night Surgical/Pediatric ICU - Full time Day/Night General Medicine - Full time, Part Time & Per diem Cardiology - Per diem Cardiothoracic/Specialty Surgery - Part Time and Full time Day/Night Neurosurgery/Sciences - Full Time Day Orthopedics - Full time and Part Time Day/Night Inpatient Oncology - Full Time Day/Night Inpatient Rehab - Full Time Evening *These positions require a consistent, ongoing schedule and are not able to accommodate rotating, short-term, or academic-based availability. As an LNA at UVMMC you have the opportunity to develop your career through our LNA Advancement Program. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the LNA Council. EDUCATION: LNA licensure within the State of Vermont.
