Customer Quality Engineer

Requirements

• Diploma in Quality Assurance / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of statistical problem solving methodologies like FMEA, DOE and SPC
• Good knowledge of various statistical methods, quality management system and ISO standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software application
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Job Scope : Liaise with process engineers on quality-related issues to follow-up on effective corrective and preventive actions Investigate, perform failure analysis (including external laboratory testing) and prepare 8Dreport for customers' complaints Drive internal compliance audit of company's business processes and quality management system Establish and implement in-house quality monitoring system Ensure continuous improvements in process and procedures implemented in manufacturing Carry out and implement appropriate quality plans for new products, materials/processes Drive both preventive and corrective action programmes including customer-relatedissues Other duties as assigned by superiors
