Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Procurement Leadership
  • Lead all procurement activities for global New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept phase through serial production.

  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Logistics, Finance and Legal teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to project teams and senior leadership.
  • Provide project reporting, business updates and procurement insights to management.
  • Drive decision-making through data analysis, business cases and risk assessments.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Improve procurement processes, tools and best practices.
  • Support governance, compliance and procurement standards.
  • Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Essential Experience
  • Significant 7+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Project Procurement, Supply Chain or Sourcing leadership roles.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialisation or large-scale manufacturing projects.
  • Strong project management capabilities within complex international organisations.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
  • Experience leading supplier negotiations and commercial discussions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • German language skills are essential.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience within MedTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and procurement tools.
  • Experience working in global matrix organisations.
