Te kaupapa o te tūranga - About the role Hours of working are: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm We are seeking a reliable and organised Stockroom Team Member to join our warehouse team at The Warehouse in Taupō, New Zealand. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our stockroom operates efficiently and maintains the highest standards of organisation and safety. You will work as part of a collaborative team, supporting the smooth flow of inventory and contributing to the overall success of our warehouse operations. - Receive, unload, and accurately process incoming stock deliveries - Organise and store stock items in designated locations using appropriate storage methods - Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records Pick and pack customer orders with precision and attention to detail - Rotate stock according to 'first in, first out' principles to ensure product quality - Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stockroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Assist in locating stock items and fulfilling internal requests from other departments - Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly, including pallet jacks and other handling tools where trained - Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to management promptly - Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines Proven experience working in a warehouse, stockroom, or similar operational environment (desirable) - Strong organisational and time management skills - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping - Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Physical capability to lift, carry, and move stock items regularly - Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and best practices - Basic numeracy skills for stock counting and inventory management - Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software (desirable) Forklift or other warehouse equipment certification (desirable) - Reliability and punctuality with a positive attitude towards work - Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and management Tā mātou tāpaetanga - What we offer Team Card: Access to discounts across our brands.
