Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic contracting efforts for major accounts and customer segments, including budget oversight and staff development.

  • Coach and develop top talent, set goals, conduct succession planning, and manage performance to align people performance with business goals, KPIs, and growth opportunities.
  • Represent AbbVie to external stakeholders as a patient-centric and trusted healthcare partner, helping to build a strong and sustainable AbbVie brand image.
  • University degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic contracting, account management, pricing, market access, procurement, commercial operations, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience managing teams, cross-functional projects, or key strategic accounts.
  • Strong background in contract negotiation, deal structuring, customer/account strategy, and financial acumen.
  • Experience working with senior internal stakeholders and external customers or partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, retention, or contract value.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
  • Understanding of how global events can impact the organization's plans, mission, strategies, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Czech.
