Service Engineer (HVAC/Cooling)

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of precision cooling / HVAC systems at customer sites.
• Carry out regular inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure reliable system performance.
• Diagnose issues involving mechanical, electrical, control, or network‑related components .
• Complete system tests, verification checks , and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare clear service and commissioning reports , including test results and improvement recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth project execution and system integration.
• Provide basic on‑site training to clients or colleagues on system operation and upkeep.
• Manage documentation, spare‑parts requests , and timely submission of work reports.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition.
• Promote additional services or parts when relevant and contribute feedback for process improvements.
• Uphold strict workplace safety standards at all job sites.

Requirements

• NITEC / NTC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering .
• Hands‑on experience in HVAC servicing, maintenance, or troubleshooting , preferably with customer interaction.
• Knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, and controls .
• Able to read technical diagrams and schematics .
• Strong problem‑solving ability with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Possesses a valid driver's licence and willing to travel for site work.
