What will you be doing? We're looking for a talented individual to join our growing tax team as Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate tax professional to work with a diverse portfolio of business clients. This role will provide corporate tax services for a wide range of business clients. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the preparation of corporate tax returns. You will also provide assistance to Directors/Partners in client work. As Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include among others Client work Prepare corporate tax returns and computations Advise clients on corporate tax liabilities and payment dates Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team Need to keep up to date technically Budgeting and monitoring compliance fees Compliance Ensuring procedures are followed taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant Ensuring department KPIs are met around billing and recovery targets Personal Development (Technical & Other) Reading; internal meetings; internal and external seminars and courses Awareness/interest in what other parts of the firm can do, to encourage cross-referrals To be successful in the role, you should have: Relevant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and/or industry Technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work Strong IT skills Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA and/or CTA, ATT), or a desire to work towards qualifications As a colleague here at S&W you will have access to benefits that include Competitive salary Private medical insurance Life assurance Pension contribution Hybrid working model (role dependent) Generous holiday package Option to purchase additional holiday Shared parental leave Fully funded training towards professional qualifications Cycle to work scheme Season ticket loan Eye care support We are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
