As a Culinary Support Roundsperson on our Westbrook team, you will help deliver fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You work helps maintain smooth café operations and contributes to a bustling workplace where employees can rely on quality service. In this role: You will prepare and serve food as directed by the Head Chef and/or Executive Chef . You will provide culinary support including line cooking, food preparation, menu creation, and plating . You will work across all venues and cross-train to support a variety of kitchen operations . You will monitor sanitation practices and ensure compliance with food safety regulations . You will maintain safe food handling procedures and promote a safe working environment . You will clean and maintain café equipment and machinery . You will deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional working relationships . You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with CDC guidelines . You will assist with maintaining kitchen organization and inventory alongside the Head Chef . You will contribute to menu development in collaboration with culinary leadership . What you need to succeed: Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stand ing for extended periods ; perform ing repetitive hand and arm movements ; walk ing frequently (approximately 3-5 miles per day) ; lift ing , carry ing , push ing , and pull ing up to 50 pounds ; and occasionally bend ing , climb ing , balanc ing , kneel ing , or crouch ing Strong food preparation skills and the ability to produce a variety of dishes with quality and consistency Ability to assist in menu development and contribute creativity to culinary offerings Strong team focus and ability to contribute both independently and collaboratively Autonomy to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions when needed C ommitment to quality, food safety, and customer service excellence Basic computer skills, including email usage Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback and continuously improve What you can expect from us: Target hourly rate of $20 - $23 / hour based on experience Opportunity for annual cash bonus Opportunity for performance based annual merit increase Health / Dental / Vision b enefits d ay o ne 5% matching 401k Generous PTO benefits Additional benefits including but not limited to pet insurance, mental health resources, volunteer paid days off, employee stock program, foundation donation matching, and much more!
